Congratulations to our thirty Year 9 students who completed their Creative Workshop with the University of Lancashire today. They showed fantastic behaviour, resilience and hard work to create their own animation film. Using the Aardman studios' software, the students had to recreate in excess of 120 frames to achieve their 10/15s video. They also discussed courses in art and animation and future career prospects.
The Creative Centre would like to thank the academy team for the brilliant attitude for learning and behaviour shown by the students throughout the session - all of them were a credit to the school. Such was the quality of the work produced that the Creative Centre Team asked for the students' written permission to showcase the work today on their website - this will be featured on our YouTube channel, website and around school very soon!
In the meantime, here are a few 'still frames' from today.
