Important Travel Information from Blackpool Transport

Blackpool Transport have made all September timetables available on their website, and these can be viewed at www.blackpooltransport.com/routes.

There is a dedicated school transport information page, viewable at www.blackpooltransport.com/education which provides information on the appropriate public bus services which can be used for travelling to/from your school.

We have identified a number of morning and afternoon bus journeys which require additional resources to safely carry the number of anticipated children travelling by public transport. These additional services will be identifiable using an ‘x’ alongside the service number, for example, ‘X6’ as opposed to ‘6’. These journeys are available for use by school children only, and we ask that all pupils are encouraged to travel on these additional services where available. Any extra services are listed on the information page relative to your school.

As per current guidance, school children over the age of 11 are encouraged to wear a face covering on public transport unless they are exempt. Please help us by encouraging children to do so.

Please check your bus timetable in advance, plan ahead, and allow extra time for your journey. We are providing extra services where we can, but if possible, travel as early as you can and avoid using the last departure in order to arrive on time.
