On Thursday, 18th June, fourteen of our talented Year 8 students traveled to the University of Central Lancashire to participate in the annual Lancashire Teen Tech Festival.

It was an incredible day packed with innovation, hands-on discovery, and inspiration. Our students dived headfirst into the world of emerging technologies and had the invaluable opportunity to network directly with future employers and industry leaders in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) sector.

Our students didn't just participate, they excelled. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Year 8 teams walked away with two major awards:

  • The Standout Circuit Award – Celebrating exceptional engineering and technical skill.
  • The Marketing Master Award – Recognising brilliant creativity, communication, and commercial thinking.

Due to their amazing success, the teams are now hoping to go forward to the national Teen Tech Finals in London next year.

A huge congratulations to all 14 students who represented our school so brilliantly they showed exactly what can be achieved with teamwork, creativity, and a passion for STEM. Aspire Academy are incredibly proud of them.
