On Saturday, Miss Lees and Mr Iddon took a group of Year 10 GCSE Art pupils to the Manchester Art Gallery.
The visit allowed students to gather primary research for their coursework, find inspiration for their projects, and deeply connect with the artists' emotional and conceptual intentions. To help them contextualise what they were seeing, the students also took part in critical understanding workshops held in selected areas of the gallery.
Miss Lees commented, "The students were incredibly engaged, enthusiastic and inquisitive throughout the day and left the gallery feeling inspired, motivated, and equipped with insightful observations to support them in their coursework. Their behavior was exemplary and they truly did us proud!"
