Congratulations to a number of our students who, after moderation today, all passed their Bronze Arts Award Art, Creative Writing, Drama and Music!

The students all had to collect a wide amount of evidence in a personal arts log of their experiences including:

  • developing their interests, knowledge and skills through actively participating in any art form
  • experience of at least one arts event/experience as an audience member and their review of that event/experience
  • researching the career and work of an artist or craftsperson that inspires them
  • experience of passing on an arts skill

The Bronze Arts Award is a Level 1 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is open to young people aged 11 to 25.

Miss Bamber said: "These students have worked so hard on building their Arts Award portfolios since January and have taken full advantage of all the opportunities presented to them through taking part in this course. I am so proud of them all for achieving their Bronze qualification."
