Mandela Day is on Sunday, 18th July, 2021 celebrating Nelson Mandela and all that he achieved, a person who led by example.

He once said, “It is in your hands to make of our world a better one for all,” and positive change can only happen if we take up the challenge. We can all make a difference by becoming someone who makes every day a Mandela Day by acting against poverty, showing others that actions speak louder than words.

Mrs Gregory is asking you to be an active citizen in your local community and to see if you can make a small donation of any kind to the JustGiving fundraising webpage she has set up at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/lesley-gregory Every penny raised will be going to the Amazing Graze Soup Kitchen in Blackpool, that not only supports the homeless, but also the elderly, isolated and vulnerable in our local community.

Complying with government guidelines, Amazing Graze Soup Kitchen are keeping covid safe by supporting our community with a hot food takeaway service and food parcel every Tuesday and Friday, 6pm to 7pm, with OAP deliveries from 5pm to 7pm.

Please contact Amazing Graze Soup Kitchen if you, or someone you know, is struggling and needs food provisions. They are providing an invaluable service supporting our homeless and vulnerable local community in these times of need.
