This is the first of our new interview series with staff members at Aspire, allowing you to get to know who works here.

This week it's English Teacher Mrs Gregory answering the questions.

Why did you become a teacher?

I wanted to teach from being three years old. It was originally primary I wanted to work in, but that soon changed after I became a mum :)

Is there anything you wish you taught but can't?

I am a physics geek on the side, so I would love the opportunity to explore the curriculum.

Marmite or Peanut Butter?

What has been the best day of your life (so far)?

Three of the best days of my life have been when I gave birth to my children!

Which teacher did you fear the most when you were at school and why?

Mr Murray because he never smiled and constantly screamed!

What was your favourite toy as a child?

Polly Pocket, hours of fun.

If you could be a fruit which one would you be and why?

I would be a coconut, that way I could enjoy the hot weather and nice scenery before being eaten.

What’s the best day of the week at Aspire?

I like Mondays...probably on my own with that one!

Coronation Street or Eastenders?

What is life like on the inside of a ping pong ball?

Peaceful and serene, although it can be bumpy at times, but that's life, eh!

Anything else you would like to add?

Smile and the world will smile with you :)
