Our next interviewee is Miss Garside, the first person many people see when coming to Aspire for the first time.

What do you do at Aspire and why did you want to work in a school?

I work in Reception, greeting visitors and much more besides. Working in school fits in with my childcare needs and the time off is great!

Marmite or Peanut Butter?

Neither.

What has been the best day of your life (so far)?

The obvious answer for me is having my daughter.

Which teacher did you fear the most when you were at school and why?

Mr Padmore, he was my music teacher. A very 'old-school' strict teacher who also taught my mum, so he already knew me and I couldn't get out of being in the school choir.

What was your favourite toy as a child?

Sheena doll.

If you could be a fruit which one would you be and why?

A grape - little, round, thin skinned and all squishy in the middle, with the occasional pip.

What’s the best day of the week at Aspire?

Friday because it's coffee and cake day!

Coronation Street or Eastenders?

Coronation Street.

What is life like on the inside of a ping pong ball?

This is my life! Can't see far and running backwards, forwards and every which way.
