A small cohort of our Year 10 boys have been at the Skills Construction Centre this week in order for them to complete their induction programme ready for September.

They have experienced painting and decorating, bricklaying, tiling and other maintenance skills, all led by the centre tutors, who have been fantastic with our students.

Wednesday was their final day and the group have made Aspire proud; the tutors, staff and managers all commented on how engaged, polite and hardworking our students were, with one of the tutors commenting that, "it was honestly a pleasure to see them excel and do well in something which they have clearly enjoyed."

The group are now fully enrolled and have their placements in September and by completing their induction they have been awarded entry level certificates in Painting, Bricklaying, Tiling, Health & Safety and Multi-Trade.

As an addition, Mr Jenkinson created some certificates for the tutors to nominate students who are pictured above:

Best Painter - Aaron

Best Bricklayer - Ryan

Best Tiler - Darren

Best Team Player - Tyler

Best Worker - Connor
