It would appear that wallpapering is one of those skills that most people think that they can do and then once they start, immediately realise that there is more to it than they originally considered, but not so for Year 9 Sophie.

She decided it would be fun and a different kind of learning experience to help her Auntie decorate her bedroom.

Wallpapering takes in a great many skills of which Sophie found she has a knack for, including, but not limited to, identifing different patterns, mixing adhesives, marking out, measuring and cutting wallpaper to the correct size, applying adhesive, folding and hanging techniques, applying wallpaper to internal and external corners, cutting and trimming around obstacles and finally keeping work areas clean and tidy!
