This is the second of our new interview series with staff members at Aspire, allowing you to get to know who works here.

This week it's Teacher of PE and Teaching Assistant, Mr Brown answering the questions.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because I looked up to my PE teacher whilst at school. I decided I wanted to work in a school after I volunteered in one. I really enjoy the energy children have and the fact that no two days are the same.

Is there anything you wish you taught but can't?

I wish I could teach History as I find it incredibly interesting.

Marmite or Peanut Butter?

Neither

What has been the best day of your life (so far)?

I don't think i've had that 'wow' moment yet, although for some reason I can vividly remember the day my younger brother was born. Can't think why.

Which teacher did you fear the most when you were at school and why?

I was terrified of a teacher called Mrs Howard. I wouldn't utter a word in her class. She might have sent me to the chokey!

What was your favourite toy as a child?

Was there anything cooler than an action man that swam when you wound up his arms? I think not.

If you could be a fruit which one would you be and why?

Vomit fruit, at least I wouldn't be eaten.

What’s the best day of the week at Aspire?

Is there anyone that doesn't love a Friday?

Coronation Street or Eastenders?

Eastenders

What is life like on the inside of a ping pong ball?

Lonely.

Anything else you would like to add?

I've only worked at Aspire for two years now and I love it. I find it such a shame that it still holds the reputation of it's previous names.
