Momo is a sinister ‘challenge’ that has been around for some time which has recently resurfaced and once again has come to the attention of schools and children across the country. Dubbed the ‘suicide killer game’, Momo has been heavily linked with apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and most recently YouTube Kids. There have been recent reports where seemingly innocent videos of Youtube and Youtube Kids have been edited with this inappropriate content appearing part way through the video.

National Online Safety have developed a tool for parents in regards to the ‘Momo Challenge’ concerns and you can read a document on the subject which will provide information and support by clicking here - What parents need to know about MOMO.
