Congratulations to Aspire students Jaxon, Evie, Eleanor, Sienna and Jessica, pictured below with Tom from Blackpool Football Club Community Trust (BFCCT), who have recently completed the twelve week Enterprise Challenge Programme in conjuction with Beaverbrooks Charitable Trust and BFCCT.

The challange of the Enterprise Challenge Programme this year was to create something that could get teenagers out into the town centre to do something engaging and recreational, it had to be for young people between 11 and 18, and it needed to be based on Blackpool promenade or in Blackpool town centre.

Students also needed to include how much it would cost, what profit could be made from the venture, how their idea could be achieved and what would it teach the young people who took part.

SplatPool was our students idea, a company that would create the ultimate paintballing experience right in the heart of Blackpool!

Miss Eastwood, who accompanied the students when they presented their idea at Blackpool Football Club to a Dragons' Den style panel of local top managers, said, "Our students represented us so well, they were absolutely amazing. I could not stop smiling whilst watching them."
